This principle covers every little thing you own; from your clothes, books, bags, makeup or cosmetics, to your shoes, accessories, and nail polishes. Yes, your colorful palette of nail polishes. They equally need your attention and need a decent space in your room rather than chaotically rolling around in the corners of your drawers. If you really care for them, you will take time to organize and keep them safe. So why not make use of a nail polish rack?

Making a New Nail Polish Rack in 10 Easy Steps

Don’t worry. You won’t have to buy a new rack just for this. This article will show you how to make a new nail polish rack in just 10 easy steps. Next time around, you will be showing off your beautiful collection and they will all be on easy reach.

Step 1. Prepare Your Materials

For this rack, you will need:
-3 Black 20″ x 28″ Foam boards
-Cutter
-Ruler/straight edge
-46 small nails
-A bottle of clear Tacky Glue
-Fabric or fun paper or, a tape with a design/pattern (Optional )

Step 2. Mark the Back of the Rack

Using your ruler, draw a line across the first foam board every five inches. This will serve as the back of your nail polish shelf. You should have five lines drawn afterwards

Step 3. Make the Sides

On the second foam board, mark two lines that measure 2.5 inches vertically. These will serve as the sides of your new rack.

Step 4. Make the Sides and Front

For the next step, take the third foam board then draw six lines measuring 2 inches apart. This will now be the shelves of your rack. After which, draw another six lines an inch apart. These will be the front part of your rack so the polishes do not fall out from where they are standing

Step 5. Cut! Cut! Cut!

Cut out the lines using your cutter. You can now glue the fabric or the tape onto the small six strips you have cut.

Step 6. Glue the Shelves

After doing so, you can glue the medium sized strips next onto the marks you drew on the first foam board.

Step 7. Put Nails for Supportnailpolishrack

Attach five nails at the back of the rack along each row. This is to add additional sturdiness to your rack.

Step 8. Attach the Sides and The Front

Attach the front (six small strips) and the sides of the polish rack in the same manner: glue, then put nails. This time, you can only have one nail on each side for the fronts of the rack and the sides.

Step 9. Let it Dry

Let your new nail polish rack dry for an hour.

Step 10. Finished Product!

After ensuring that your nail rack has finished drying, you can now organize your nail polishes on your new rack. You can also add other personals besides your beautiful nail polishes!

Nail Polish Rack for Your Expanding Collection

Every girl needs a nail polish shelf or container, especially if you are one who thinks of expanding your collection. It is important that you have your things organized because you never know when you will need to change the color on your nails. There’s a color that goes with every outfit, right? So you have to be ready. It will be a disaster if you can’t find the perfect shade just because your bottles are everywhere in your room. These are just a few of the many reasons why you should have a rack of your own; it does not even have to be expensive.

So with those simple steps, you will no longer need to worry about where to store your nail polishes anymore. If your collection keeps growing, you can always make another one of these shelves because it’s so easy and fun to do! On top of all this, you can even share this knowledge on how to make a DIY nail polish rack with your girlfriends or design a nail rack that will feature your personality and style. With this, you can definitely have a nail rack that specifically fits just you just like your nail designs fit your nails.
